About Us 
Formosa Plastics Corporation, founded in 1954, is the origin of the Formosa Plastics Group. It started with the production of the smallest scale, four tons of PVC powder per day. Through decades of hard work and overcoming challenges, it has become one of the largest PVC powder producers globally. Formosa Plastics Group has not only diversified into various industries, such as petrochemicals, fibers, textiles, electronics, transportation, heavy industries, energy, automobiles, and biotechnology, but it also expanded its investments overseas. Additionally, Formosa Plastics Group is dedicated to social welfare initiatives, including healthcare and education. 
In 2004, the Formosa Plastics Group Museum was established to document the  growth and history of FPG, as well as to archive relevant artifacts that reveal the  essence of FPG corporate culture. The museum is open to the public and offers free admission all year round. We not only wish to share the Group’s history and the depth of Taiwan’s economic development, but also aspire to be an information center for the growth of the Group’s sustainable development and to pass on its corporate spirit.
